Absolutely outstanding. The staff, the food, everything was outstanding. We took my mum here for a belated birthday treat and she left feeling very much spoiled and loved. Our waiter Matthew and his colleague were absolutely phenomenal as well. Thank you all so much for such a wonderful experience

Food was amazing as always, and cocktails were fab! Staff were super friendly also. The only negative I have was the wait to get the food order taken - it was a wee while between getting our drinks to ordering food. But happy to always visit again!

Really enjoyed this visit to CafeBar1780. I had been for lunch before but this was my first visit for an evening meal. We both enjoyed the food and beer. Not too busy so it made for a nice relaxing evening.

It’s always a bit more challenging to find a food place when it’s supposed to suit different demographics (in this case two middle-aged women and a primary school child). The Gruff Goat made us feel welcome, had an excellent food and wine menu and a no-nonsense kids plate. I had the Halloumi and Avocado Salad, which was excellent, and we were served by a very lovely and patient member of staff. Highly recommend.
