    Yesterday, July 1, 2026, I had an amazing birthday lunch at Waterbar in San Francisco, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the city, and this visit reminded me why. The food was absolutely delicious, and the magnificent waterfront view made for the perfect setting to celebrate. A special thank you to Carlos, our waiter, who provided outstanding service throughout the meal. He surprised me by bringing out my dessert with “Happy Birthday” beautifully written on the plate, which was such a thoughtful touch. To make the celebration even more memorable, the staff also presented me with a Happy Birthday card signed by the employees. It was such a genuine and heartfelt gesture that made me feel truly appreciated. The only slight disappointment was that Jonathan, the manager, had mentioned he was going to surprise me with a bouquet of flowers, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. While I was looking forward to that surprise, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a wonderful birthday celebration. From the exceptional food and breathtaking views to the warm hospitality and personal touches, Waterbar made my birthday lunch incredibly special. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for outstanding dining, excellent service, and an unforgettable experience. Thank you to Carlos and the entire team for making my birthday so memorable!
