Food was great as was service. We got a great table and I appreciate that because we only meet there a couple times a year. Everyone liked the drinks so kudos to the bartender. If I lived closer I’d be a true regular! I grew up near there. It’s great to see what’s been done to the property.

Food was excellent as was the view. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Our waitress was a little non-existent and forgetful as she forgot to bring us bread and my wife’s appetizer, but the food quality more than made up for it. A little on the pricey side but well worth it.

This was my Wife’s and I first time experiencing New Haven Restaurant week and decided to try Il Gabbiano as our first restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with how well the staff were attentive and friendly. The food choices we made were excellent. We will definitely put this restaurant on our repeat list.

Food was all good. Our waitress was friendly. Inside is cute. I would imagine on a sunny summer day it must be really pretty. I would recommend this restaurant, and I would absolutely go back if I was back in that area.
