Charming Resturant inside the inn. Warm inviting tavern where we sat next to a cozy fireplace. Our dinners were delicious and prepared/presented with care. Definitely recommend this spot for a meal.

The lobster fettuccine special was fabulous. We enjoyed the mussels, shrimp cocktail and calamari appetisers very much. But most importantly, we had a wonderful server.

We practically had the place to ourselves 5-6:30 on a Thursday— farmers market day in Exeter. Cannot understand why. It is a high end place, to be sure, but the food was delicious, the ambiance lovely, and the service top notch. Unique offerings for a vegetarian, and a US-focused wine list. Wish i lived closer to come more often.
