Best Vegan Restaurants in Essex

I went with my husband and another couple and one of them requires gluten free food. We love coming to this restaurant because the food is really delicious and staff is always accommodating and super nice. All of their food is delectable but this time I had the half rack of baby back ribs which were falling off the bone and delicious. They have nice gluten free choices for my friend too. The only thing about this place is it can get really noisy when it is busy and it can be difficult to have a conversation. I suggest going on a weeknight. We went on a Monday and it was fine.

We had the best experience for our first visit to The Laurel on November 1st. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the food was unique and so delicious! Drinks were just as great. We visited on the occasion of my birthday, and staff presented us with complimentary bubbly and a birthday candle in an amazing chocolate cake. Thank you for serving such a wonderful and memorable birthday lunch! We’ll definitely be back to visit again.

What a treat to be here, I’ve always had a great experience. Having drinks outside by the fire pit on a cool fall night, then going to a great dinner, then strolling to the Awesome side door jazz club - which always has the most extraordinary talent is really beyond compare for our quiet little town. Then consider it began in the 1850’s, this sense of hospitality and adventure combine. I just love this place.
