Amazing venue, staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. Food is absolutely amazing.

We visit The Barrel whenever we get the opportunity & yesterday's visit was once again, exceptional ! The food was brilliant, the service excellent & the atmosphere was calm & very pleasant. We have been going to The Barrel for some years & have been with family & friends on occasion & every time it has excelled, we constantly recommend The Barrel to friends, a lot of whom have visited & continue to do so, it is a great establishment & really does deserve to do well.

Really amazing food! We had the tapas which was plenty for the two of us, and at £36 that’s really good value for eating out at a proper restaurant. The outside dining area was really nice, just outside the cathedral. There weren’t many other customers but also we went on a Wednesday night so our fault really!

Just a perfect experience. Lovely food and service was great. We all had different starters and mains and enjoyed what we had. Very tasty.

Thank you for a lovely visit, the service was amazing and everyone who worked there was super polite. Food was lovely and I tried something new (Lamb Piazza) and it didn’t disappoint. Thank you again, we will be returning!
