We have looked for years for a sushi restaurant that could replace our locally-owned sushi restaurant in San Clemente when it closed several years ago. I think we found it! The restaurant is not large, nicely appointed in a modern style, but maintaining the Japanese style. The hostess/server was delightful and engaged with us when we asked questions. And the food, you ask? It was fabulous! My husband is more adventurous than I am and he found things that he thought were wonderful - and he can be picky about his fish. I loved being able to get a sampler of a number of different items, some of which I have never heard of or had before. The tequila docent was very knowledgeable and engaging. Although the final food course was not as published the substitute was very good!
