Best Seasonal Restaurants in Heywood

Excellent evening at Higher ground. Food, service, hospitality and ambience were all outstanding. A very relaxed atmosphere with the highest of standards. We were sat at the counter in front of the cooking area. It was an absolute pleasure to watch the chefs at work. Can’t wait to go back.

I've dined at the Ivy many times but this was a first visit to the Ivy Asia. The food was exquisite and we loved the ambience and general vibe of the restaurant. Our server was delightful and I cannot fault a thing.

We went for my son's birthday. Food was great, service was really attentive. We had lamp chops, blacklock fillet and beef dripping chips and the house salad all were delicious. Nice selection of wines as well. The vibe inside is energetic definitely will come back when we are in Manchester.

It was very quiet on a Sunday afternoon. We were a little concerned why that was? could it be the food. Well we needn’t have worried because it was exceptional. Sunday roast at its very best. Friendly service. Perfectly cooked Chicken & Pork, tasty roast potatoes and vegetables, even the Yorkshire pud tasted delicious. We have our favourite places in Town for Sunday Roast but we had to agree there is now a new contender. Value for money at £80 for 2 x Roast dinners and a good quality bottle of wine. We can’t wait to go back.

Great atmosphere, especially after the refurbishment. Excellent steaks, professional service and a beautifully redesigned, welcoming bar and entrance area. The bar team is equally professional and attentive.
