We had a really lovely time, we sat at the back of the restaurant and we loved it, not too busy. We were served by Ben and he was so lovely, really looked after us and was so friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to going back again ☺️

What's not to like? We had lunch in the Carpenters Arms after visiting the NT Sandham Memorial Chapel - its almost opposite. Lovely place, friendly staff, relaxed and not rushed, food was lovely and homemade (not chain), ice-cream was delicious. Will go again.

We had a lovely birthday lunch for my Sister. The food was delicious and Torrin provided excellent service with humour and a smile. Thank you for not having music on, it was so relaxing to be able to eat and chat without having to compete with music.

The Sunday roast was fantastic - especially the seasonal vegetables; perfectly crispy roast potatoes and amazing yorkie. I was eating alone and often feel a little apprehensive when arriving for a reservation for one… I needn’t have worried as the staff were lovely and very welcoming. All in all, highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had the 5 course tasting menu with wine flight this Sunday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and the food was delicious. The service was friendly, it would have been nice to have a little more information about the wine paring but the choices themselves were very good. We had a lovely time.

So good to eat somewhere with an interesting menu which was fairly priced. The portions were more than adequate. We had booked 2 tables of 8 and the staff managed the service very well. Very attentative. The food was served quickly and hot. Delicious!
