Our first trip to Ivy Cambridge and we weren’t disappointed. We arrived early and welcomed by a lovely host who showed us straight to our table, I had requested a quiet corner and that’s exactly what we got. The staff were attentive, well attired, friendly and professional, the food ( we opted for the ‘Cool Brittania’ menu ) was devine, an excellent drinks list and beautiful glassware ! The seating was very comfortable as was the temperature and it was lovely and quiet with soft background music. The washrooms were clean and the restaurant looked spotless. 5 stars, a fabulous experience that topped off our day out in Cambridge !

Fabulous evening to celebrate our daughter’s birthday with some of her friends. Delicious food, beautiful building and lovely atmosphere. Service was a little slow but everything was done with warmth and a smile. My daughter was given a card and a slice of cake with a sparkler in it - a very sweet gesture.

The Church Street Tavern never fails to please. The same is true of its sister establishments, The White Hart and The Rose. The menus are well thought out and varied and include local produce, and they have an extensive wine with affordable wines. Staff are friendly and helpful, the ambiance is good and it is not too noisy.

The food is always excellent, I had the garden plate whick has lots of different elements, yummy. My friend had fruit pancakes which ain't really my thing but I tried some anyway and they were delicious. Ambience and staff fantastic. Should be able to pay with cash and tip staff with cash. Service charge should be made obvious too.

An Absolute Gem” this place is. Although is is out the way and a good drive to get to. It’s DEFINITELY worth it!!! You don’t get to choose what you have as the 6 course taster menu is the same for everyone. As a foodie, I found this not only intriguing, but excited as I do tend to go for the same types of dishes when I eat out, but needless to say, my partner and I were not disappointed! The food is amazing and the work that goes into these dishes is second to none and definitely worth every penny and more in my opinion. I’ve eaten in michilin star restaurants at various locations across the country and this place is up there with some of the best. Don’t be put off by the lack of curb appeal of this place. It definitely not the Dorchester or Le Manior and it doesn’t pretend to be either. It really is Willy Wonkers golden ticket and the setting only adds to its charm and intimacy, where the food can’t hide and speaks for itself! “STUNNING” A very warm, relaxed place with lovely easy going atmosphere that you feel welcomed and comfortable. I think Ben is a genius in the kitchen and deserves every bit of success. I know we will definitely be back and to learn that the menu changes every 3 weeks, leaves us already looking forward to what other delights Ben has to offer up his sleeve. Yes there us no mobile signal or wireless and although at first I was a bit shocked. The reality is we can all do with less phone time making the company we are in more attentive, so I found it no problem at all. If you need a cab or taxi, I’m certain Sophie will accommodate and get you one and won’t leave you stranded 🤣 The service is really down to earth, warm, welcoming, really inviting and friendly Keep up the great work Ben, Sophie and we look forward to seeing you again real soon. Thanks for making our night so lovely and our tummy’s and tastebuds very happy 🙏🏻 Ian & Holly
