Best Romantic Restaurants in Manchester-by-the-Sea

Lovely open kitchen atmosphere. Service and food amazing from start to finish. We (party of 6) had a hard time leaving.

Ledger is one of my favorite restaurants in Salem. I try to go at least once a month however I have back to back reservations this week to celebrate spooky season being over. Not only is the food always delicious and amazing quality the staff is always happy to serve you and very accommodating and welcoming. The spooky drink specials are always fun although it’s the Ledger Painkiller that gets my vote every time! My go to is either the burger, the pasta, or the half chicken but you can’t go wrong with anything and it’s a sin if you skip the popovers

Great local spot - good selection on the menu, fresh, well seasoned . Great atmosphere and comfortable bar spots too.

This restaurant is amazing. Full stop. We got lost in good food, drink and conversation! Such sumptuous surroundings as well. Shout out to the bar staff and our server, as always.

Oct. 17th 2026. Arriving at Turner Hill was a wonderful surprise, what a beautiful setting! . We had a lovely luncheon at the Members Grill. The food was delicious and service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant Terry
