Last minute date night reservation! Pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere was perfect . Staff incredibly friendly. Food was delicious . I had scollops and ravioli and my husband had Tartare and the pasta Ragu . Topped the night off with a cocktails for dessert . 5/5 - will definitely return again!

A visit to Dublin is not complete without a visit to The Winding Stair. Every experience is stellar. The quality, freshness, and inventiveness of the menu is unmatched. The service is friendly and impeccable. The location is ideal, and the atmosphere is both relaxed and special. I visit Dublin from NYC at least once a year, and a visit to The Winding Stair is an absolutely priority. I can't recommend it enough.

We loved the experience from the first step to the last. The secret entrance and password, the dimly lit swanky “cozy” restaurant and bar area. We loved the intimate setting and being allowed the time to take in all the ambiance, moments, and time to peruse the very large cocktail menu - and just enjoying the time spent together. Nothing is rushed, and that is okay. We enjoyed the table next to us where we spent a little time discussing alcohol selections, absinthe, and pastis, and other delightful libations. Dinner was fantastic, the service and servers were very good and sweet, checking in on us to make sure everything was okay. Then when a mixup occurred - they fixed it right away, went to replace it (a drink), and then did it charge us for either drinks. Again, above and beyond. My husband had the pasta allá genoveses which was very yummy. I had the slow cooked short rib over mashed potatoes and we shared a tossed salad, and had the blistered peppered for our starters - OMG - YUM! Finished with the house tiramisu and it did not disappoint. Mix this with a few drinks throughout the evening and everything was perfect! Great location and choice, wonderful food and service - and the company was above all else - superb and capped off the evening. Thank you for making our last evening in Dublin perfect!
