Beautiful sunset evening. Highlight was an unexpected saber champagne ceremony complete with a bagpipe player performing Dinner inside was delicious and our table was personally visited by the chef. Great menu!

Victor was our server and he went above and beyond to make sure my daughter had a great birthday dinner! We had an excellent evening at Alexander in Rittenhouse, and a big part of that was our server, Katia. She made the night. Katia is from Mexico, and she shared some of her culture with us throughout the dinner, which created a really special connection at the table. Beyond that, her service was outstanding from start to finish. She walked us through the dishes with real knowledge and enthusiasm, and every recommendation was spot on. The food was fantastic, but it was Katia’s warmth and attention that turned a great dinner into a memorable one. Thank you, Katia, and thank you to the whole team at Alexander. We’ll definitely be back!

First visit to A.Kitchen and it was a great experience from start to finish. Sat at the chef's counter where we watched our chef juggle the lunch crowd by himself with a smile and great skill. We had a glass of wine from the small but well-selected list and a specialty cocktail. Great start. One server for the small room but she was so nice and attentive despite the challenge. Opened with the Chickpea Panisse. A unique taste of delicately fried chickpeas, not a falafel ball, but a relative over tahini and charred veggies. Large steak frites came with huge steakhouse fries, perfectly grilled as ordered. Branzino was a filet grilled to absolute perfection with tiny veggies all around. One chance for a first impression and A.Kitchen over delivered.

Our overall experience was absolutely excellent a definite 10/10! Everything about this restaurant exceeded our expectations, from the food and ambience to the service. We were greeted by the hostess, who welcomed us with a smile and took our coats. The atmosphere was incredibly comfortable and inviting, with beautiful dim lighting, great music, and lovely painting on the walls that I really enjoyed looking at. Once seated, we were served complimentary bread, and it was absolutely delicious! It was so good that we had to ask for seconds. The bread was soft and practically melted in your mouth, and the sweet, flavorful butter was the perfect addition. For appetizers, we ordered the Caesar salad and crab cake and both were a 10/10. For my entree, I had the ribeye with mac and cheese. The steak was so juicy and cooked exactly as requested. Every bite was delicious! We were too full to order dessert, but since we were celebrating our anniversary, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was also delicious. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the evening. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food, service, atmosphere, and attention to detail made for a wonderful dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely return!
