Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Fire Island

We ate in the State Room- up a long flight of stairs from The Shand. This area is small plates- although they have a limited selection of full meals. Every plate was fantastic and we felt we had more than enough food. The service was on point. Will be back to try downstairs or the bar!

Enjoyed good food and service at Whiskey Neat. Menu was varied with something for everyone. Service/wait person was friendly and accommodating. Overall great experience pre-theater especially for a busy Saturday evening. A return visit definitely in the future.

Excellent experience! Great live music (saxophone) and general ambience. Food was delicious, and cocktails were spectacular!

This would be our third time dining at Capital Grille, and to say we were not disappointed would be an understatement. Once again, our server was Gino. This young man is an absolute gem. Could not do enough for us. While we are just regular, run of the mill customers, he literally treated us like VIP. Secondly, Eric, one of the manager’s was also top notch. Not just a guy who walks around to see how your experience is (while not really caring), he himself took the time to help us and was gracious enough to give a little extra when desert time came around. (Absolutely not necessary whatsoever). For a “big league” chain restaurant, they make you feel like you’re dining at a mom and pop local spot.
