After having a wonderful dinner supported with great service there last week, I went back this week to try the Happy Hour deal on $1 oysters. The oysters were fresh and excellent, and the service was again outstanding. My friend is ready to go back next week :-)

Overall, great experience. Initially, I felt like a fish out of water because I was traveling alone and did not know what to expect from a more upscale atmosphere. First impression was a bit disappointing because I could not find the host and stood there pacing until I decided to ask the rep. at the theater what I needed to do to be seated. They suggested asking someone at the bar which was helpful. Thank you. Shortly after walking over to the bar, the host walked out and I was seated immediately. The rest of the experience was outstanding, and I even found myself messaging friends about how great the food and cocktails were compared to typical restaurants I would normally find myself at. I had the Calamari appetizer, Salmom entree with 2 Long Islands which were balanced and tasted the same both times. I appreciated the consistency! Eventually, I asked for the check and when the server returned I realized I didn't even think about dessert. I asked what her suggestions were and went with the Chocolate Bomb (I might be off on the name). Honestly, I would return to this place just for the dessert alone. It was so good and I considered getting another one before leaving! I will be returning to this area soon and I will very likely eat here again!

We had the most amazing time at the Mad Hatter Tea Party High Tea! From the delicious food and wonderful tea to the beautiful experience, everything was absolutely perfect. Our server, Etseg, truly made the experience extra special. Her warm smile, kindness, and incredible attention to detail were above and beyond. She made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout the entire experience. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, kind, and attentive. The food was excellent, the tea was wonderful, and the whole afternoon was simply magical. I would highly recommend the Mad Hatter Tea Party to anyone looking for a fun, unique, and memorable afternoon experience. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back!

Revisited this hidden gem after a few years away. The updated menu was excellent. We shared 2 appetizers of ground lamb on a stick and crispy spinach with cranberry chutney, which were both out of this world. We split the butter chicken entree which was also delicious. They even brought us separate plates with rice and salad. The server was quite attentive. The updated decor is very pleasing and comfortable. It was a pleasure to rediscover Passage to India and we were delighted with our experience.

This understated restaurant is a joy to have in our neighborhood. We have an abundance of restaurants in our area of all types, but we were lacking a place where you could enjoy American classics and great steaks and lamb chops, or explore classics of Middle Eastern, Italian or French cuisines. That gap has been filled by District Bistro. Quality ingredients, unique preparations, and stellar service make for an exceptional dining experience. You might walk right past this place because it is in an unassuming storefront next to its sister restaurant, Frank's Burgers, but walking by would be a mistake. Go inside--you won't regret it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Little Taste of Home, Made with Love! Every time I visit Arlington, this restaurant is one of the places I genuinely look forward to returning to. And that says a lot, because aside from seeing my daughter, enjoying another wonderful meal here is one of the highlights of my visits! I’ve always had a deep love for Mediterranean cuisine, especially Lebanese food. Growing up in Venezuela, where there was a wonderful Lebanese community, I was fortunate to experience many of these beautiful flavors from an early age. They’re part of my childhood memories, the kind of comfort food that brings a little piece of home back with every bite. And that’s exactly what I find here. There’s something truly special about their food. Every dish tastes as though it has been prepared with genuine care, attention, and pride. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these wonderful flavors came from cherished family recipes. There’s a certain warmth and authenticity here that you simply cannot fake.Their chicken, beef, and lamb are consistently cooked to perfection. Always tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned. Never dry, never bland, and never overly salty. Somehow, they always achieve that perfect balance of spices and flavors that makes every bite so satisfying 😋 My recommendations from this visit: The grape leaves, tabbouleh, hummus, shawarma combo platter, baklavas, and, the pistachio latte. Every single one was a delight! To the wonderful people at Olive Lebanese Eatery, Please know that your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. You have created more than just a place to enjoy a delicious meal. You’ve created a place that makes someone like me feel a little closer to home.
