Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Lumberville

The food at Barley Sheaf was amazing! We went for Brunch and were served instead of eating from a Buffet. We had three courses and were able to choose food from within each course. Our server, Joanne, was very friendly and answered all our questions. The view from our table was spectacular. We loved everything about it!

Outstanding. So many items ton choose and such a variety. Food was amazing and presented with great service. From the valet to the hostess to our waitress all represent your restaurant with smiles and kindness.

Quick review. The paella and sangria were incredible. The see service is always great.

Three of us went to eat and sat at the main dining room. We had a beautiful view of the working kitchen. We ordered three appetizers, the eggplant, the shrimp bao buns, and the gnocchi. Everything was excellent prepared with such flavor. I’m not one for sautéed eggplant, but it was so good and it was not mushy like you often find. For the main dishes, we got the shrimp and grits, the steak and the salmon. Again, everything had flavor and well seasoned. Service was impeccable. Our waitress was on top of everything and you felt like she was your personal attendant  we each ordered one alcoholic drink, and some sparkling water. The total bill without tip came to $56.87 each which I thought was amazing for all the food we ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant. Side note …this is not the type of place that you ask the chef to make moderations to a meal. Everything is specifically prepared for flavor.
