Lovely lunch for 9 gym friends - pre-ordered food as a large booking. Wait staff delivered everything perfectly correctly to the correct person - calling names etc. all the ladies loved their choices and were very complimentary. Can be difficult choosing a restaurant for a large group with varying tastes and ages. But everyone loved our lunch!

His hospitality was second to none. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He sorted us out with a fantastic table, made everything happen effortlessly and genuinely made us feel like VIPs. The atmosphere was incredible, the service was outstanding, and the whole experience was something I'll never forget. It's rare to come across an owner who takes such genuine pride in making sure his guests have an unforgettable evening. We visited The Ivy in St Albans on Saturday night for the first time together, after my partner recommended it, and it certainly did not disappoint! We shared two starters, and both were absolutely gorgeous. I then had the fish cakes for my main, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We were both feeling full by dessert, but after spotting someone else’s and deciding it looked too tempting, we shared one, and we were so glad we did! The staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and really knowledgeable when it came to recommending wines. Our waitress mentioned she had only been there a week, but you would never have known from how knowledgeable and attentive she was. The whole experience was fantastic. The food, service and atmosphere were all lovely, and we were pleasantly surprised by the bill. I expected it to be considerably more, so it was definitely great value for money. Even though we were almost the last people there before closing, we never felt rushed or pressured to leave. That really made the evening feel relaxed and special. We had such a lovely time and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience, they stayed open for us because we were running late, the service was still excellent and the food was spectacular. 10/10 recommend! Ishmael was also so very helpful as our server!
