Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in Hamden

We’ve been there four times now and I’ve enjoyed every single item I’ve ordered. I’m not exaggerating. I really do mean every item from appetizer through dessert, not to mention the Old Fashioned they make smell like a fireplace. The scallop filled stuffing on lobster night is particularly tasty. The wait staff is engaging and personable, often indulging my charming wit. Note: the main room is very (!) loud as it is dominated by the large and lively bar area, often filled with 30-40 somethings coming in after work. However, there is a side room that is nice and quiet if you’re not that animated. Overall … one of our favorite places.

Food is always delicious and outstanding service. Can’t wait to come back again.

Like being in Italy...this is out favorite Italian food other than Amalfi!!! Homemade Pastas, all amazing, I know because I've had them all! Great apps, like Broccoli rabe/sausage, Stuffed Zucchini Blossems, the lightest fried calamari , great whole roasted Brazinni and Veal Milenese that was perfect...

Our waiter was extremely nice. Of course with just being 2 people we over ordered. We had the sampler platter with freshly made pita , which was delicious. We shared Falafel and wings.The Falafel was fried to perfection crispy on the outside and very soft texture on the inside. All of our food was made fresh to order. We will definitely be eating there again in the near future.

Nice views and vibes. Friendly service. Accommodating. Only issue was parking but that was because the lot only held about 20 cars. I was pleased and can't wait to visit and watch the sunset on the quinnippiac river again
