Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light. Chef and Owner Peter Platt, along with his team, work to create innovative and memorable meals that are an event unto themselves. Currently, we are offering a $95 prix fixe menu with 5-6 choices per course every night we are open. The hours for dinner are Wednesday through Sunday 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm for both indoors and in an all new screened outdoor room. The wine list is graced with an array of thoughtfully selected estate bottled wines from France, California, Italy and around the world.     Was here for the first time about 15 years ago on our way home to New Jersey from a wedding in the Boston area. Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the Turkey Thanksgiving dinner. Seriously, I would think of it from time to time and couldn’t wait to go back. We finally did on our way home from Maine. It was just as delicious as the first time! Highly recommend the place!

    I took my husband to Sunday brunch on Father’s Day. We had a lovely table by the water snd a wonderful waitress/server Emma! Even though it was a very busy day Emma was very attentive and took time for a friendly conversation. The food was excellent, we will definitely be going back to The Mill on the River and bringing other family members!!! Thank you for a lovely start to our day
