Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Chalmette

Wonderful experience… Chef Jose was amazing and very personable. Drinks and service were amazing.

The food was mind-blowing; their chicken will live forever in my heart. The food was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Even when it was kind of chaotic outside because of the parade, the atmosphere was chill inside. It was the best meal I had on my trip - definitely one of my favorite restaurants in NOLA now.

Visiting New Orleans for the first time with my partner for his birthday. Made reservations at The Pelican Club and was not disappointed! From the moment we entered we were warmly greeted. We had reservations for patio seating and it was lovely. Our server was knowledgeable and quick. The food was absolutely delicious! I can’t go on enough about how fantastic everything we ordered was. We ordered two bottles of wine, red and white, which was recommended by staff and paired well with the food. We started with the bread and Caesar salad to share. The salad was crisp, fresh and dressing top notch! The bread is a must! Warm house made focaccia. My partner order the pork chop, the cleared the plate. The cut was thick and juicy. I ordered the short rib. It fell apart and melts in your mouth, paired with cheese grits, it was phenomenal. Over all experience was amazing and we left feeling very satisfied. The Pelican Club is defiantly a place we plan to dine at again on our next visit and will be recommending to any that travel to New Orleans.

We dined outside so there was a fair amount of traffic noise from time to time, it's on a 4 lane road so hard to get away from that. It was our choice, however, the weather was gorgeous and we wanted to take advantage of it. Plenty of seating available inside. Food was wonderful, so was the staff. We will be back!
