The food was really good, but what stood out most was the exceptional service from John. He was genuinely one of the best waiters I’ve come across. From start to finish, his attitude was fantastic, incredibly friendly, attentive, helpful and professional without ever being overbearing. Nothing felt like too much trouble for him, and the way he interacted with us made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after throughout the evening. Great food and an enjoyable experience overall, but John’s outstanding service really elevated the evening and deserves special recognition. He’s a real credit to the restaurant. Would definitely return!

This was our first time at The Loch & The Tyne and it did not disappoint. We opted for the two course Sunday roast (main and desert) and our plates were completely empty when collected. Everything was absolutely delicious and the option for veg to be replenished was a super nice touch and very much appreciated. Lovely staff, lovely venue, can't wait to go back and highly recommend for any type of date or gathering.
