We celebrated my husband’s and son’s birthdays here last night and had a lovely evening. The restaurant is so beautiful and cosy, lovely atmosphere with beautiful artwork on the walls and a library room type of feel. Friendly service and the food was all delicious. Highly recommend and we will definitely book again.

Fantastic lunch out for two. Food was amazing (both had the belly pork). The atmosphere is warm and gentle. Beautiful building, plenty of parking. Good value given the quality. Slight (and I mean very slight) niggle with the size of the service charge being automatically included on the bill. This is regardless of table size. I understand you can ask for it to be removed but I doubt anyone would feel comfortable doing that. Whilst the service is very good, we'd prefer to choose the tip amount ourselves. However, this should not distract from the fact that we both really enjoyed our lunch and will return.

Absolutely the best roast beef I’ve ever had! Incredibly tender and full of flavour. Apparently they slow roast it overnight and you could really taste the difference. One of our party had roast lamb and two had the beef. All of us really enjoyed it. Portions were all very generous. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great experience. Thank you!
