Our fifth time at 80 Thoreau. Emily was our server she was wonderful and attentive. The food quality and presentation were outstanding and thoughtfully prepared. We had the beets and baby lettuces (with amaranth)as appetizers. Halibut, Steak Frites, Lamb Kofte for mains and basque cheesecake, tiramisu and rice pudding for desserts.

The service, food and atmosphere were excellent. The only reason I did not rate it a five is because I was looking forward to eating dinner by the fire pit but was not aware that the seating was "communal" which means we would have been seated around the fire pit with strangers which does not make for a romantic birthday dinner with my wife.

We always have great time at Blackstone Putnam. The variety of food and drink flights is great and the outdoor patio is fun. We only wish a train went by so we could get Choo Choo shots!
