Best Restaurants for Foodies in Dorchester

Fantastic food, impeccable service, and well worth the visit! What a fantastic experience at Saltie Girl! We started with the oysters, followed by the warm lobster roll for my main course, and both were absolutely delicious. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the service was equally impeccable. A word of caution though… make a reservation! This place is incredibly popular, with queues literally stretching out the door. Without a reservation, you could find yourself waiting quite some time. Thankfully, we booked through OpenTable and were seated almost immediately. And whatever you do, save a little room for dessert! The chocolate chip cookie is an absolute must and the perfect way to finish an already fantastic meal. Great food, excellent service, and clearly a restaurant that deserves its popularity. We’ll definitely be back!

The food at Comfort Kitchen is so, so good. It’s that rare place where the dishes feel genuinely comforting and still surprise you. We had the duck drumettes, fried okra, mushroom entrée, and prime rib, and even the drinks were delicious. If you order two things, make them the fried okra and the prime rib. The prime rib was new on the menu when we went in November, and I’d go back just to have it again.

We had a incredibly enjoyable evening at Ostra. The food was delicious and the space was beautiful. I am especially appreciate of the manager, who dropped by during our meal and checked in to see how it was going. Would recommend to anyone visiting Boston or celebrating a special day!

My only complaint is that the restaurant was way too warm; it was an unusually warm fall day, I'm sure that's why. The food was excellent from beginning to start, the wine pairings were perfect for each course. The service was excellent with knowledgeable info shared about the food and each beverage pairing.

2 salmon entree, 1 bolognese, and 1 scallop; absolutely perfect. 2 butternut squash soup and 2 salad totally enjoyable!
