    Beauty of the mountains meeting the surface of Lake George while eating fantastic food that rises to match the view with incredible form and flavor. Everyone working there and serving us were total customer centered and devoted themselves fully to making sure we had a wonderful dining experience right down to finishing our desert dish with a piped “Happy Anniversary” wish in butter cream. We believe that Shepard’s at Erlowest is the finest and most unique restaurant on Lake George and the resort that surrounds it is just as spectacular.

    Our third time here and it’s still delivering! Great food & great service! The highlight was the chefs special sundae.. brown sugar sorbet with pistachio caramel and orange zest! Amazing combo of tastes! But of course the pastas were amazing… tagliatelle bolognese, summer in a bowl and Vodka Lumache were delicious!! The portions are a bit obnoxious as it was way too much food to eat in one seating. Note: 2 people can share a pasta!

    Charming restaurant that made you feel like you were at a private dinner party. Great specialty cocktails and charcuterie board! Live music in the next room that was great to listen to and not have to shout over. Give it a try!
