Best Date Night Restaurants in Auteuil

The hotel is spectacular, especially the flowers, and the food was fantastic. We started with the Langoustine Snackeé and Tatin de Tomate. and then we both had the Tortellini All Arrabbiata. We finished with Chocolat Stracciatelle and Fraises Basilic. It was all wonderful but the tortellini was so unique and divine that I’m pondering how to reproduce it when I get home to the States. However, we were treated rather rudely by the hostess. We had a 7:00 dinner reservation and arrived 10 minutes early. We followed another couple to the hostess stand and told her that we had a reservation at 7 and she said please wait in the lobby until we open and we will come to get you. At 7, she came to get the other couple. She then sat 3 other tables who came to the hostess stand while we still waited. We were standing in plain sight in front of her but she ignored us. I finally went to the stand when she was seating someone and spoke to a man and told him that we had a reservation at 7 and he actually took my name, unlike the original woman, and said “We’ve been waiting for you.” I said “we have been waiting for 20 minutes and the hostess said she’d come and get us but she did not.” Instead of apologizing, he got defensive but did take us to our table. Fortunately the wait staff were much friendlier and attentive. I understand Parisians have their own way of treating people but I expected more from George V and Four Seasons. I’m not sure I’d ever go to any of their establishments again.

Having visited a few months ago, I simply had to go back to Sogno during my trip to Paris. The menu has changed, but the food is just as good as ever. I tried an original take on the *vongole* (clam pasta), and it was delicious. Well done, and see you again soon.

The food was delicious, served by warm, friendly, and attentive staff! Definitely will go back on our next trip to Paris!

food was SOOOO good. i got the truffle dish and it was truly the best pasta i had in Paris in all honesty. we had the stracciecella and arancini as appetizers and they were bomb. what made this experience exquisite was our waitress Astrid. she was truly a delight and had an amazing personality and had great timing. we had a small table but she was also waiting a huge table and still had a great attitude and got us all of our food at a good time. i would 100% recommend her to anyone who visits, she just a joy! she loves her job and it definitely shows. would totally recommend this hidden gem!!

The food was great and the service excellent. The decor was quite lovely. Great place for a date night. Centrally located for a post dinner walk down rue Cler or toward the Eiffel Tower.
