Best Restaurants for Business Meals in San Ysidro, San Diego

We had Dinner reservations on the 4th of July for 6:15…one of the craziest nights next to New Years Eve, especially at a vacation destination like San Diego. We arrived as 610 and were in seated at our table by 6:15. The Maitre De greated us and wished us a Happy Anniversary. 52 years. When I made the reservation on Open Table I didn’t mention our anniversary but it must have been in ROYS system as we dined at Roys in on OAHU on July 4th 2024. Was truly surprised and appreciative of the gesture…and Lucious KEY LIME PIE compliments of the Resturant

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 We had another wonderful dining experience at Il Fornaio in Coronado! Although we were sad to learn that Demetrio was no longer there, Jorge has clearly carried on his legacy of outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel genuinely welcomed and ensured everything ran smoothly. Our server, Alessandra, was exceptional. She provided excellent menu recommendations, paid close attention to every detail, kept our drinks refilled without us ever having to ask, and was warm, friendly, and engaging throughout the meal. Her professionalism and personable attitude truly elevated our dining experience. The food was fantastic as always, and the combination of delicious Italian cuisine with such attentive service is why we keep coming back. Thank you, Jorge and Alessandra, for making our visit so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

First, and so important, the gentleman ISHMAEL did the most incredible job taking care of us during our 41st anniversary dinner! Thoughtful, knowledgeable, intuitive, kind & invested in doing a great job. We GREATLY appreciate that! His recommendations were spot on & we had one of our most memorable dinners! The 'off-menu' old-fashioned was unlike anything I've tasted -- and I savored every sip. Every step thru dinner kept us looking forward to the next dish. (Calamari, tuna/crab/avo stack, scallops & risotto cakes, eye of ribeye -- so savory, carefully made - to top it off with a dark chocolate orange truffle with raspberry coulis -- perfect end to a perfect dinner. Thank you, Ishmael, for being so attentive & invested in making sure we had the BEST experience at Island Prime

The food was very good. Best Italian food I've had in a while. The only negative is that outside can be a bit rowdy and loud from the neighboring venues and high pedestrian traffic. Inside is a great atmosphere for a nice family dinner. Highly recommend this place and would go back!

The Grant Grill has been added to our rotation. It is in the lobby level of the Grant Hotel by Marriott. The host staff were extremely professional and our waiter was superb! The bread for the table is 10/10. It's DANGEROUSLY good! I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass.. exceptional. My girlfriend had the vegetarian dish. I can't remember the name but I tried it. It was also very exquisite! Thank you for a nice evening! We will be back!
