The staff was very attentive to the changes that were requested to the menu items (hold this, this on the side, etc.) I had the Taco Trio and as always, it was yummy. The fish was perfect and the two salsas were terrific. The setting on the side patio is beautiful. My friend was supposed to join me for dinner, but she canceled at the last minute so I went ahead and had dinner. It was wonderful. I had a great conversations with the staff, and they were attentive and wonderful. I have an event coming up with my team at work in August. He did not steer us wrong. The food and service were outstanding. We loved the coconut fritters, sesame pancakes and milk bread (don't be afraid to order both, they are very different) as starters. We had the kampachi and the beef dumplings. All of the flavors popped, and everything was both different and delicious. We shared the halibut entree. It was very good, but not as unique as some of the starters. For dessert we had the corn soft serve, which tasted like Popcorn Ice Cream if that were a thing. Unique and excellent. As good as the soft serve was, our favorite dessert was the Financier. My son compared it to french toast, but with more crunch and chew and served with a warm berry compote and butter. Our favorite moment of the evening was when my son asked our server what the inspiration was for the corn soft serve and the chef personally stopped by to talk food with him.
