Best Restaurants for Birthdays in The Coombe

Had booked a dinner for four friends, cocktails were fantastic and non-alcoholic options were on par. Starters are great if order a few to share, we got salami and focaccia. Pasta dishes were rich but well balanced, we asked for rigatoni that was less spicy and were accommodated. Dessert took the spotlight with the fabulous arrangements of chocolate mousse and affogato. Our waitress looked after us attentively all night and we weren't rushed at all. Great place for a relaxed dinner with friends to catchup and have a few drinks. Have been a fan of Sophie's before the revamp and now even more!

We visited thunder road cafe for brunch. The staff were absolutely lovely, very attentive. Orders were taken quickly, food came out at a good pace. My son got pancakes, myself and husband got full irish. All were lovely, no complaints. Good atmosphere nice and lively. Will defo be back for the evening menu

We loved this experience, the broths were delicious, the food so fresh and reasonably priced and we loved the interactive aspect of “cooking” your food in the broth. The portion sizes are super generous too and the staff so friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

First time here after lunch downstairs and it was so fun! The cocktail bar is warm and cosy and the rooftop was nice to pop out to when the sun came out! Thank you Soba for looking after us.

We enjoyed champagne and nibbles in a wonderfully relaxed setting, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing out a cake when they learned it was our friend’s 40th birthday. The gesture was thoughtful and very much appreciated. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was vibrant and welcoming, making it a memorable occasion.
