Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Avondale

great service and food. lots of attention / food was hot and deliciously prepared.

Outstanding. The food is always delicious, the service, excellent and the ambiance is quite enjoyable. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a great dining experience. We will definitely be returning (again!)

We visit the melting pot in Wilmington, a handful of times a year. It is always a great experience. Their staff is always very kind. They interact, but don’t do so much that it feels like it’s intrusive. It’s done very very well. It’s a super cozy place. To go anytime of the year. Absolutely excellent on a rainy fall day or in the spring likewise. As you walk in and all this steam is coming up from the tables, the aromas, the light music and chitchat from tables. Makes it a super conversational and wonderful date or outing with a group of friends.

Because today our online world of ratings and reviews matter so much, I am compelled to write this one for The Mendenhall restaurant. I had arranged brunch for 8 for Sunday November 1st 2026 in early October and forgot to make the reservation with Mendenhall. No worries, I was able to book a table for 8 people the Friday night before and Mendenhall didn't bat an eyelash. Not only that, I added a 9th. No problem they said, we can actually accommodate more than that at your table. That was so impressive. As always, brunch was off the hook as usual with delicious food, plentiful choices, great service from our favorite waiter Andy and wonderful champagne or mimosa's. It is always a pleasure to dine at Mendenhall whether it is brunch or any other meal. I am already planning our next visit for December.

Absolutely Perfection!!! I will recommend this place always
