Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Laguna Hills / Lake Forest / Foothill Ranch

Another fine dinner. Great ambiance, peaceful night, relaxing music. Fig bruschetta appetizer was very tasty, beef stroganoff was tender and tasty, salmon was perhaps a bit overdone but very well seasoned. Flourless chocolate cake was decadently rich aided by the ice cream, strawberries, and whipped cream.

Second time here and I absolutely love this place. Both times here the management has interacted with us to make sure that our experience was up to expectations. The food was absolutely amazing. I am already thinking about what I will be having the next time I come back. And to top it all off… the apple pie! Oh my gosh! Soooo good. Can’t wait to come back. Great ambience and people watching.

Brunch at The View @ VEA, for my aunt’s 86 birthday, was OUTSTANDING! The staff were kind, considerate and very attentive. The food was excellent. The ambience and overall restaurant decor is really nice. Our server, Alex & team, provided supreme service. The whole view staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable. My aunt enjoyed her birthday and we had a really nice meal. Thanks to all at The View restaurant at VEA.

What a delightful experience! We have looked for years for a sushi restaurant that could replace our locally-owned sushi restaurant in San Clemente when it closed several years ago. I think we found it! The restaurant is not large, nicely appointed in a modern style, but maintaining the Japanese style. The hostess/server was delightful and engaged with us when we asked questions. And the food, you ask? It was fabulous! My husband is more adventurous than I am and he found things that he thought were wonderful - and he can be picky about his fish. I loved being able to get a sampler of a number of different items, some of which I have never heard of or had before. Overall, I can only say, I wish it were closer to home so we could visit more regularly. But we will definitely be back!
