Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Algiers Point

Very well planned Creole and Cajun menu. Excellent assortment for everyone. Only comment, portion sizes are huge. Might be worth splitting a plate. The catfish Decatur had the best jambalaya I've ever had.

Visiting New Orleans for the first time with my partner for his birthday. Made reservations at The Pelican Club and was not disappointed! From the moment we entered we were warmly greeted. We had reservations for patio seating and it was lovely. Our server was knowledgeable and quick. The food was absolutely delicious! I can’t go on enough about how fantastic everything we ordered was. We ordered two bottles of wine, red and white, which was recommended by staff and paired well with the food. We started with the bread and Caesar salad to share. The salad was crisp, fresh and dressing top notch! The bread is a must! Warm house made focaccia. My partner order the pork chop, the cleared the plate. The cut was thick and juicy. I ordered the short rib. It fell apart and melts in your mouth, paired with cheese grits, it was phenomenal. Over all experience was amazing and we left feeling very satisfied. The Pelican Club is defiantly a place we plan to dine at again on our next visit and will be recommending to any that travel to New Orleans.

It was my third dinner at PnW and the best! The oysters were all amazing, the apps were flawless, the Negroni was perfect, and the service was friendly, efficient and fast.

I wish there was a 10-star option for N7. The absolute highlight of our first trip to New Orleans!!! Cannot say enough about N7; the ambiance, decor, staff, menu, food, etc, etc, etc, was all off the chart. Was so happy we were able to get reservations. Everything on the menu was outstanding. We enjoyed the Smoked Tomato soup, Napa Cabbage, Scallops, Escargots, Cheese plate, and the Steak au Poivre. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. Our server, who admitted it was her first night on the floor, after working there for several years, was fantastic (unfortunately I do not remember her name) but she was great. Her recommendations were spot on. Next time you visit New Orleans, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at N7. You will not be disappointed
