The smoked Sablefish was as good a dish that I have tasted. So was the chowder. We had a great server. the room is large and a bit cold and not the best but the view is good. I would recommend ARC for the great food and service/

Food and service were excellent. We had the "moon" tasting menu with the premium wine pairing. I was driving and my mom doesn't want to drink a lot but we both enjoy wine so we shared a pairing - which worked out perfectly. The combinations of wine with each course was outstanding. The service staff was excellent too. A description of each wine was given and the same for the dish. Lovely evening.

Thursday lunch was packed - not an empty table. Very pleasant house white wine. I had a regular mussels with fries. Huge portion of fries (little too salty but delicious) and the mussels were large. Very pleased with my choice. Croque monsieur was the other choice. Generous sandwich also delicious ! Friendly efficient service. Will return

Lavidas is not a new fancy place; but they've done what they can to make it nice for their guests. It appears clean and reasonably kept up. The server is a very pleasant person who remembers my favourite drink and is sincerely happy to have my wife and I back as guests. The menu isn't big, but it doesn't have to be, as everything on it suits me just fine. Beef, duck, seafood pasta, muscles, etc. and plenty of good appetizers, are all exquisitely well prepared and are as good as any top restaurant in flavour. The portions are plenty enough to be able to take some home; but it's difficult to do when one is enjoying one's meal that much. The value is absolutely unbeatable! Never mind the decent prices for everything, they have an appetizer, main, and dessert package for a crazy reasonable price. Enjoy!
