Foghorn Brewery was born of a dream to make craft beer the way it ought to be made—from grain to glass all under one roof.The historic building in King Street had been abandoned for several years when we first set foot inside. In that dusty old warehouse, we saw the potential to create something really special.And so it was that Newcastle’s first modern craft brewery opened its doors in April 2015. The town’s industrial roots have played a big part in shaping the unique character of Foghorn Brewery.     Exceptional meal and service - we had the Butchers Set Meal and every course was amazing. One of the best meals we have ever had - better than the 2 Hat restaurants in Hunter Valley. Can’t wait to go back and try more! Service was fun with good banter and ambience was healthy.

    Was an incredible experience. The food was out of this world, and the venue was amazing! Would recommend it if you're in the Hunter Valley or planning to visit. The staff were also fantastic. Amity and Brooke were incredible!

    They went out of their way to make sure I had something to eat when I had a medical issue. My husband had one of the best chicken sandwiches he’s ever had. We will be back.

    We had a fantastic time at Cypress Lakes Bistro Food was fabulous- loved the Thai Fish curry, service was outstanding and all staff friendly and attentive I was so impressed I asked to speak to the supervisor as I wanted to extend my appreciation for a great night out
