First time visiting Lumiere yesterday and I have to say what a lovely time we had. From the greeting we received as we walked in, through to the end of the fantastic meal the experience was outstanding. As for the food, we've eaten in some top rated restaurants all over the country and this was en par with anything we've had anywhere. From the very first canapé which was literally a work of art to the last course, the damson soufflé every course was beautiful. The most difficult part of lunch was when we were asked which course was the best, such a tough question when they were all of this standard, I suppose it just boils down to which one resonated with your particular palate the most. For me it was the Cornish sea bass, simply outstanding, flavour combinations where every element of the dish had a part to play and delivered in spades. My wife's favourite was the duck, complete with duck liver parfait encased in white chocolate !! it certainly played tricks on the tastebuds. Special mention must also go to the palate cleanser signature Tequila Slammer, a little bit of theatre which was super refreshing half way through the meal. Suffice to say we will be returning to Lumiere as we cant wait to see how the menu changes through the coming seasons. Thankyou everyone at Lumiere, a treat not to be missed

The service at the Bath Priory was excellent and wonderful. The food also of the highest quality and we would recommend everyone to go there.

Absolutely blown away with how delicious the food was and it was my partners birthday the restaurant gave us a glass of prosecco each on arrival and a cake after our meal so kind of them! Can't wait to return.
