Their reputation is well-earned.. the food was amazing. We were a party of 9 and there were no drop-offs in service or food quality. Eddie is the consummate professional.. his knowledge of the wines and menu is impeccable. This was our first time at Michael’s on East, it will not be our last. Highly, highly recommend!

If you have an interest for the best steak you will ever have… a visit to Hyde Park Steakhouse is a must. Upon entering, you will feel that this gem is a throwback to how a “Steakhouse “ used to be. Beautifully appointed with dark wood, white tablecloths and a waitstaff that just enhances the experience. Liz did a phenomenal job making us free like a valued customer with her charm, professionalism and attentiveness. My wife had the Wagyu filet ( came with its own certification of authenticity) - nice touch… it was so flavorful, tender and perfectly prepared. I had the 36 day dry aged bone in ribeye. It was also perfectly seasoned, delicious and impressive. We finished off this memorable evening with their table- side flaming butter cake. So if you want a great steak, beautifully prepared, and served …in a traditional, well appointed restaurant… sending you back to how steakhouses used to be … stop by Hyde Park Steakhouse.
