At sake breweries during the late 18th century, people in Japan began using sake kegs as stools, and snacks were served. This small plate menu was designed to encourage sharing amongst friends and family. Food is prepared in multiple kitchens and arrives as it is ready to ensure freshness.     The high quality of the food is consistent, they offer a great selection of "wine by the glass" to please all pallets and budgets. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The atmosphere and location is ideal, the music is very tasteful and its volume respectful. A classy place to have a wonderful meal and experience. Never fails🙏🏻

    The food was delicious. The dates were my favorite, but the lamb chops were close second. The service was excellent. We never had an empty water glass. Definitely worth going.

    I don't know why it took us so long to go to Izakaya! I do know that we will be frequent customers from now on. We came early, 5 PM, to guarantee there was a quiet area as noise levels in some newer restaurants are above safe levels! We got a nice booth for the 4 of us and proceeded to have a terrific experience. The choices are many but we settled on sharing a few things. Edamame, popcorn shrimp (not the usual fried puffs), pork bao buns (the best), the fried chicken for our gluten free friend, a sweet/sour combo for another, and more. They even had ginger beer. The desserts were welcome as we were not feeling stuffed but pleasantly satisfied. All in all a very pleasant experience and we will return!
