Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Southport

The dishes were outstanding, and the service was equally exceptional. Our waiter was attentive throughout the evening, and we especially appreciated that our special occasion was thoughtfully acknowledged. The restaurant's ambiance is unique, elegant, and tastefully decorated, creating a wonderful setting for the meal. The only downside was the noise level, which was much louder than expected and detracted from the overall experience. For that reason, I'm deducting one star.

A top hamburger destination, the pork chop was thick and amazingly moist, and the chef’s selected wine list is appreciated. Steak frites also one of the best in the area.

Our dinners were excellent. Our server was excellent. We requested a number of adjustments to our orders such as no quinoa in the berry salad and a side of aoli with the Caesar salad with crab cakes and all were addressed perfectly. The scrod dinner looked delicious. And to start, don’t miss the bread order with roasted garlic. Delicious.
