Best Comfort Food Restaurants in East Boston

My maple glazed salmon was excellent, as were the sides of butternut squash, spinach, asparagus, and wild rice - My husband's cod was equally great - The creme brulee trio was perfect for dessert - The only reason that I didn't give the service a 5* is that the restaurant seemed to be a little short staffed and it looked to us that our waitress was the only one hustling to get her tables taken car of - We would definitely recommend 75 Chestnut and we will be going back.

The food at Comfort Kitchen is so, so good. It’s that rare place where the dishes feel genuinely comforting and still surprise you. We had the duck drumettes, fried okra, mushroom entrée, and prime rib, and even the drinks were delicious. If you order two things, make them the fried okra and the prime rib. The prime rib was new on the menu when we went in November, and I’d go back just to have it again.

Company lunch and the sandwich was fresh and spicy just as I like it. :)

The restaurant Artu has been our favorite in Boston for many years. The food is very tasty and perfectly cooked. We have always had prompt seating, taking our beverages and meal order. Everyone who was working at Artu yesterday were very welcoming, and checking to be sure we were happy about our experience!
