Service is friendly and efficient. The steaks could probably do with a little more resting, just a couple of minutes, but the meat is of very good quality. Overall a very good meal, served efficiently, by very competent and professional staff.

Mad Egg has become our go to place for a bite to eat before a gig in Whelans. It never disappoints. Food is freshly cooked and any modifications catered to. Had the GOAT as usual & it certainly lives up to its name. Service is friendly and quick. See you guys in March for our next pre-gig meal.

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to this gem! From Jenny’s super warm welcome at the door to Marta’s fantastic table service, everything was spot on. The food was so good—seriously, get the ragù, you won't regret it—and the wine list was spot on. Can't wait to go back!

Just finished the Dublin City Marathon and wanted somewhere to go with my wife and The Port House Pintxo didn't dissapoint. I read some of the previous reviews and maybe they hit a bad patch in 2025 with some negative reviews but I can honestly say that we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. I ordered the Rioja Reserve at €60 and it was worth every cent. Decided because I was a bit pooped after the days running to go for the tasting menue for 2 people at €45 per person and this really worked as it provided a fab meal without having to spend too much time thinking. Service was attentive and friendly, ambience is lively but intimate and candlelit. Loved it!
