    Very disappointing. Food was fair, at best, with some items being inedible. Banana pudding was fabulous though, but so many other items were poor. No specials? Service was completely uninspiring. Wait staff could not describe items on the regular menu without going to ask. Prices are super high, we were expecting a special treat. This place is past its prime.

    Food was overcooked (rubbery scallops, quail and turkey lacked juiciness, etc.) Worse the service was so slow and inattentive it took almost 3 hours to get through dinner No apologies or any effort for staff to make this up to me Not going back. Definitely not worth the large amount I paid for dinner In the Fearing versus Pyles perrenial food wars in Dallas - there is a clear winner. And it is not Dean Fearing.

    The dinner was fabulous! Our waiter, Michael was terrific! The breads, the appetizers and the main course and dessert all were presented beautifully and tasted 100x better than they looked!! First Thanksgiving eating out and it will get my vote next year!! No stress and no mess!!! We left the dirty dishes behind!!! ♥️

    The Thanksgiving Feast was delicious. One of our party was vegetarian and there was a full selection to choose from instead of just one entree. Impressive! Service there is attentive but never smothering. Love this restaurant, particularly for special occasions. Our thanks to Chef Dean for his wonderful recipes and attention to detail.

    We have followed Dean Fearing for the last 44 years… no matter where in the country we lived. We try to come back here and eat every few years. It never disappoints:) wonderful food, flavors, and great service. We will look forward to the next time!

    Fantastic dining experience! Menu is somewhat limited but every dish is unique wonderful dining experience. The pre meal bread sampler with smoked butter is excellent. Appetizers including tortilla soup, Brussels sprouts, were an experience on their own right. Entrees are creative and perfectly prepared. I expect to pay high prices when I go to Fearings but the cocktail prices ($25 to $40) were a bit too much. Better value can be found on the wine list. Service is always well timed served by pleasant folks who know their stuff. You would be hard pressed to find a better dining experience any where on earth. I haven’t found one yet but I’m willing to keep looking.

    Everything here is great. Fried chicken, cheeseburger, salmon and biscuits this visit. All were delicious! Tables are not too close, soft background music, friendly and competent service. We love it here. The only thing is valet is pricey as are the cocktails.

    Staff was overloaded with longer than usual waits between service and food arrived tepid as it was sitting waiting to be delivered. Not terrible but certainly not up to normal Dean standards.

    Food is amazing, the service staff is very attentive. Enjoy our anniversary dinner out at a really nice restaurant. Easy to get a reservation. The wine list is excellent, the wine steward made recommendations.

    We were there for a business lunch and I was surprised that the service was slow and not very inviting or joyous when orders were taken, food was brought out, and plates were cleared. Our servicer didn't check on us either which was disappointing. We were expecting more service from Fearing's.

    Everything about this place was excellent! The people are all very kind and provide excellent service. Alicia helped us at our table and while she provided fantastic service, she engaged in great communication and wonderful banter. The manger at this location (Brianna?) was wonderful and has done a great job creating a very inclusive and diverse environment and staff. The food was also pretty outstanding and you get great value for your money here. This was not one of those places where you left feeling like you weren't full. As vegetarians, we are not used to having excellent dedicated vegetarian menus with great options but this place is one of the exceptions that does a great job!

    Service and food were exceptional! Our server, Justin I think was his name, was knowledgeable and guided us through a terrific meal. We were celebrating a 21st birthday and they made it very special.

    This was my eighth time to Fearings. They were all gray but this one was probably the best. The Nilgai was amazing. Started with Tortilla soup-always great. Brisket Mac n Cheese is a must, Brussels sprouts ridiculously good. Best meal I have had in a long time.

    Steak and chicken fried lobster was excellent! Brisket mac & cheese was served cold, and the brussels sprouts were too big for a single bite and over dressed. I was disappointed because I have always had good dining experiences .

    Food was good but after initial contact with waiter, he was no where to be seen. I had to flag down people wandering by to see if they could help. This is supposedly a 5 star restaurant/hotel and I got 2 star service. I asked for a second glass of wine, and all they did was pour on top of my existing glass which was already half full so I paid for that. I would not go back.

    Donna was extremely helpful in assisting with our party. She was very hospitable. The staff was very friendly, warm, energetic and provided excellent service. It was also great to meet and be greeted by Dean Fearing himself. The food portions were perfect and cooked to your satisfaction. I️ would easily return to dine here.

    It’s pretty easy. Everything was top notch as one would expect from such a restaurant. The Antelope and bison main courses were excellent. One thing in particular, the bartender made me the FearingsOld Fashioned…probably the best I’ve had…..ever. Even the speakeasies in Chicago/NYC don’t match it.

    We had a wonderful experience! The food was fabulous, the drinks were excellent. We really enjoyed it. The highlight was the appetizer. We'd never had the oysters rocka-fearing before, anywhere, and it was a highlight, for sure! It was special and thoughtful. I couldn't believe how good it was. The halibut was good, though a little dry, and I definitely wanted more of the buttermilk sauce. Dessert was fabulous - banana pudding! So good! We enjoyed a wonderful evening, and our server, Alicia, was excellent. Thank you!

    I was very disappointed in our visit to Fearing’s. I’ve been once before about 6 years ago and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We went back and it was good, but not great. All the food was very good (Waygu tenderloins, Nipole, Brussels sprouts, and bbq Mac and cheese), but not blow your mind great, although the pricing sets an expectation for blow your mind great. The service was very much mediocre throughout the evening. Had hoped for more.

    Amazing food and wonderful service! Loved the "extras"...single appetizer for each of us and sorbet before dessert:) Also, they gave us an extra dessert for our friends 70th birthday!! Also, we loved the table visit by Dean Fearing! He has done this every time we come to his restaurant:) How amazing is this?!

    Great 50th birthday dinner for my wife. The food and drink were outstanding with a great Southwest flair. Service was very good and ambience was pleasant. More formal than most Dallas restaurants, but still not too stuffy. Pricey but well worth it. This is not the place to look for a value outing but it’s worth every penny for a special occasion. Chef Fearing is out and visible and visited every table. Don’t hesitate to try this great restaurant.
