We were pleasantly surprised about our experience at the Erie Grill. We hadn't been there is quite sometime and decided last minute to eat at this hotel restaurant. I know, when you hear hotel it might put you off. In this case, it is quite the opposite. First , our server was attentive and accommodating. One of our party has food allergies and they always bring a list of the foods and spices they are unable eat. The server and then the chef created a salmon dish with spinach and lemon/pepper seasoning that was delicious. It should be noted this meal was not on any menu. The Chef made their dining experience amazing. Of course, the rest of us ordered off the menu and enjoyed every morsel of our meals. To sum up our experience, this is a well run restaurant with a staff that cares to make everyone's dining experience delightful. Go and try it yourself and feel the difference.

Bright, cheery breakfast spot. Our meals were delicious, service was terrific, it was a short drive from RIT and accepted reservations which was key for Brick City Homecoming weekend. We were able to have a really nice breakfast with our son without stress before heading home. Will definitely be back.

We have eaten at the Erie Grill several times with pleasure. We returned with a guest in anticipation of another delicious meal. We were very disappointed! Our first and second choice entrees were sold out. Our third choice options proved overly spicy and therefore inedible. I ate only the tiny “fish sticks” from my fish tacos. My husband was unable to eat the overly spicy salami and cheese on the charcuterie board. (Since when is cheese “spicy” ?) At the end of service, our full plates returned to the kitchen. In fairness, I should note that our guest enjoyed the salmon entree very much.

Our party of three loved our meals, meatloaf, duck & bacon burger. My only wish is to bring back the shoestring fries. Our waiter was outstanding & professional young man. Thank you!

I am a Rochester native and actually worked at this location in 1965 when it was known as THE DEPOT restaurant. This is my "go to" venue when I come home. ERIE GRILL always work re: ambiance, food, service.

It was very busy for an early dinner and only one server Sammi for the whole restaurant. She however did an amazing job and kept up with everything. Our Halibut was exceptional but when I received the bill my Martini was $23.50.. Outrageous for a drink of any kind!

We are so glad we tried the Erie Grill! We had the best meal, truly gourmet. The steak special was out of this world and the duck was the best we’ve had. Even the sides were perfectly done and completed the meals deliciously! Excellent wine selection, too!
