   The food was only ok. I got the filet mignon and it was way too salty. I felt like sauces and seasonings were added just to make the food taste better. Our server (Jen) was great! The view was great as well. We just won't be back for the food.

   This meal was incredible! We happened to be there in a night with she crab soup. It was one of the best I've ever had. We also had a pasta special loaded with seafood. Our server was efficient but somehow lacked the table side manor we've come to expect from Echo. Overall our meal was really good and we had a view!

   The entrees were delicious. The Caesar salad tasted like a bottled dressing and the croutons were too hard to eat. Otherwise everything was great!

   Turkey wrap was excellent but I opted to omit the aioli and have mustard instead. It was delicious. Also love the house Chardonnay. Excellent service too.

   Sitting outside and watching the sunset over the ocean was a fantastic experience for me and my girlfriend as we celebrated her birthday. The food was above average and the menu was diverse and flavorful (try the Kung Pao Brussel sprouts, they are a heavenly surprise). I have recommended ECHO to all my friends and family and plan to return soon.

    Bad service was the problem. Took to long for the drinks and food to come out. Salads came out 1 minute before the entrees.

    We were not told with online reservation and followup phone call that it was buffet only, that buffet cost $80 per adult $48 per kid, and there would be an automatic 20% gratuity to serve myself at the buffet.

    Ordered the special prime rib and the first piece was mostly fat and gristle. Our server who was excellent, took it back and brought a second serving. This serving was cold and overdone. The twice baked potato was cold. My wife had the salmon which was ok. We’ve eaten here previously and never had any problems. Might have been a bad night, but the “special “ should be edible. Our server didn’t charge for the special, but received the full tip as she made the episode tolerable. Certainly wasn’t her fault.

    The food was… good. The service was subpar. I had to ask for the status of having a server after about 15 minutes of being seated. I had to ask for a dessert menu - after 10 minutes of them taking our plates (I would think it’s pretty standard to offer that.) They didn’t seem too busy. Friendly staff, just came off as disinterested.

    Wonderful dinner outside with my wife. Initially offered an indoor table with a view of a wall, we waited at the bar for a better option to open up. Steve took good care of us. Ended up with a great table outside with a view of the ocean. Shrimp tacos were a hit although very full and messy to eat. Shrimp and grits were also good. Wine list was fairly varied and valued.     Only place on the island with outdoor, oceanfront seating. Ambience is wonderful. Limited menu, but our food was delicious. We’d definitely go back. Best to remember that you’re on island time. Don’t be in a rush. We had scallops, pot roast, Caesar salad with salmon and another salmon dish.

    Loved our first time at Echo! Our server, Javier, was excellent-personable and professional. I thought the scallops as well as the ahi tuna could use a little more flavor but overall everything was cooked to perfection, service and atmosphere was impeccable and we will absolutely be back!

    Had to wait even with a reservation but it was a Saturday evening. Staff was very friendly. Food was excellent! View was very nice. Furniture could use an upgrade or put on some tablecloths… Recommend: Asian BBQ Salmon, Pork Chops & Key Lime Coconut Trifle you won’t be disappointed!

    I’m a local and have eaten at Echo a few times prior. It had been a few years so I was excited to get back and try it out again. The atmosphere and the views are a must for anyone visiting St Simons ( it’s one of the few oceanfront restaurants sadly). This time around the service left a lot to be desired. Our waiter was friendly, but I think they are short staffed. Not good for a Saturday night. Our drinks took quite a while to get to us (at least 15 minutes). As far as the food, the spaghettini with clams had a great flavor, but had a bit too much broth and not enough pasta and clams. Would not recommend the smash burger. Ours was pretty dry. Maybe we caught them on a bad night, because I have had good experiences here before.

    We were disappointed with the service. We had reservations for 7:00, we were seated promptly but didn’t get our cocktail until 7:30 and dinner about 8:15. Delay in dessert, but the ice cream served in a chilled metal dish was delicious and a great value! Loved the ocean view from the inside window wall table. Prices were reasonable, we thought. I didn’t realize it was a casual dining restaurant and not a fine dining restaurant.

    We requested an outdoor table but when we got there they did not have any available for at least 30-45 minutes. Foor was mediocre, service was good but the indoor dining room had no charm. There are much better places to eat on St. Simons.

    We were staying at the King and Prince. It was a nice night outside, and the band inside was rather obnoxious, so we gladly sat outside. The ambience is great, but the menu is somewhat limited. The clam pasta dish was rather sparse on clams, and the shrimp tacos were good, but somewhat gooped up and hard to eat. The crème brûlée was a bit gritty and not very custard like. The mood was not helped by a rather petulant waiter. All that being said, it is a definite joy to be outside on a beautiful late spring night. I just wish Echo could capitalize on the experience.

    Staff extremely unprofessional and held an argument in the middle of service in front of customers for all to hear and see. Salmon came out severely undercooked. Very raw in the middle. Service itself was very poor. Waitress was constantly MIA or took an extremely long time to deliver food and drink. The ambience and dining facility was exceptional. That is the only positive about this location. Would not recommend anyone to eat here in the future until management and service fix the areas requiring improvement.

    The window seats right by window are excellent. Other seating and atmosphere not up to standards of main dining room of expensive beachside resort. If we stay at Hotel again we’d eat out somewhere.

    Salads were fantastic, so was the view, but lunch was far from peaceful-between to noisy birds flying overhead, the screaming children seated next to us, and the lady with the yippy dog, lunch was stressful! The service was rushed, for she barely took the time to stop and listen-no personal connection-we felt we better speak quickly or she’ll be gone. The salads on the other hand were amazing and full of flavor! We’ll try Echo again!
