Originating in Connecticut in 1945, with multiple locations in New England and Florida over the years, great food and service have been constant. House specialties include slow-roasted prime rib, steaks, fresh seafood, burgers, flatbreads, French onion soup, the "Dividend" liquor drink, and our "World Famous" Gorgonzola salad. We went for our anniversary, to try some place we have never been. The food was delicious, the restaurant (and bathrooms!) were spotless. We were very impressed and will return again soon.

Michelina’s Italian Restaurant & Catering has been serving guests around the Treasure Coast for over 20 years. We take pride in making all of our dishes & desserts from scratch, exactly the way our grandmother used to.

Chef Michele Jones is a 3rd generation restauranteur and takes great pride in her dishes. She grew up in her family’s restaurant and followed in her parents and grandparent’s footsteps. Now, her children work alongside her in the restaurant, primed and ready to follow in their parent’s steps.

Michele’s business success has been balanced with a rich family life and a very generous community spirit. Active in her children’s school and sporting events, she lends out her free time to the community when she’s able, and enjoys all of what the Treasure Coast has to offer.

Our first time at this restaurant. It was recommended by a friend. We were a party of four. Dishes ordered were lasagna, veal Marsala, salmon and chicken. Everyone was delighted with their meals. Free garlic knots were a nice addition. They only serve wine and beer.

In 2019, owner Carra Crehan welcomed Executive Chef Paolo Ferretti from Senigallia, Italy; under an O-1 visa, granted only to individuals with extraordinary ability. His culinary artistry is evident in every dish.

With 52 seats inside & 20 seats on the covered patio, our intimate space blends understated elegance with a sense of home. In the heart of our main dining room is a beloved family heirloom: a large table that seats six, inviting guests to gather, connect, and savor each moment.

With an extensive wine list, ala carte dining, multiple Preset & Tasting Menus, The Chef's Table is not to be missed.

Our party of two enjoyed the tasting menu, with wine pairings. The food was excellent -- it was comparable to Michelin one-star restaurants where we dined in Europe. A nice touch was that the chef prepared something slightly different for the two of us for two of the six courses. The wines chosen by the sommelier complemented each of the courses well, and again were appropriately different for each of us when the courses differed. We will definitely return!

Elizabeth and I were very excited to open our restaurant in Downtown Stuart. After years of visiting our parents our hearts led us back here each time we considered a different location. Our son Taylor (our Executive Chef) and I, both have a culinary education and all three of us are extremely passionate about quality food,drinks and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoy taking great care of our guests. “the Gafford” is named after my grandparents who taught us how to enjoy life, have fun and laugh (especially at ourselves). My grandfather was in the Air Force and hospitality business all of his life and taught me so much about business, cooking and hospitality. I can remember when I was young visiting my grandparents on their farm. My grandfather used to teach me how to grill. My favorite dish to cook together was a giant Ribeye steak. On our menu, that is our signature item and we call it “the Gafford.” Welcome to the Gafford where casual meets upscale.
