The Dry Dock Waterfront Grill is a “polished casual” restaurant over looking Sarasota Bay. We are located at the south end of Longboat Key behind the gas station. We are north of St. Armand’s Circle, and minutes from downtown Sarasota. Best known for Local Fresh Grouper and Red Snapper. Enjoy the second story dining area with a panaramic view of the bay, or enjoy dining outdoors on our dockside patio.

Waiter was wonderful, took order promptly, explained specials. Had lobster tails, which were very good and husband had the grouper which he enjoyed. Caesar salads were garlicky and good. All in all, would definitely recommend

Team did a great job making our anniversary dinner a bit more special than a dinner. Complimentary champagne already at the table, a card, and complementary dessert were very nice and appreciated. Food was excellent.

We had a lovely table on the beach just in time for sunset. We enjoyed the calamari appetizer as well as the lobster quinoa salad and the crab cakes. Cocktails and wine choices were lovely. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. It was a great evening with friends.

Amazing experience. Greeted immediately by a gentleman at front door, maybe manager or owner. Our server Angeles was very prompt and great with recommendations. Food came out perfectly and could not have asked for a better lunch.

I had lamb with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The lamb was DELICIOUS--cooked and seasoned (lightly) perfectly, potatoes were delicious, & portion of all 3 was very generous! Felt it was a good value. Our waiter was very charming and patient. My friend and I had not seen each other in quite some time and he did not rush us one bit.

Relax and enjoy yourself as you savor some of the tastiest dishes the Caribbean has to offer. Growing up as a child in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, I came to love the local cuisine and the abundance of fresh seafood on the island. Love of the Caribbean and its food have helped make this restaurant a reality. My wonderful wife, Laurie, has a passion for Southern cooking and you will find a splendid southern twist in the menu, such as the Kentucky Hot Brown, Corn Pudding and Fried Green Tomatoes.

All our food is made fresh daily. The herbs used in our delicious dishes are grown in our garden here at the restaurant. We invite you to tour the garden and allow your taste buds to be teased by the scent of parsley, basil and rosemary and walk our boardwalk to see what’s jumping.
