If you’re only going to one restaurant in Berlin, this is an absolute must! The service was fantastic — attentive without being intrusive, and they made us feel more like friends than customers. And the food? Absolutely incredible! Don’t let the menu put you off. Some of the dishes might sound a little unusual, but this is truly high-level cuisine. The highlight of our trip!

Any place that includes cats is worth a visit. Here, the food was simply fantastic. Service was a tiny bit slow but other than that friendly and helpful.

You will find us in the middle of Berlin-Mitte between the TV Tower & the Reichstag and only 47.11 meters from Friedrichstraße. On foot you can reach the Friedrichstadtpalast, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the Museum Island or the Gendarmenmarkt in only about 10 minutes. The S & U train station Friedrichstraße is only 3 minutes away. You can expect the best traditional German cuisine with a Rhenish touch. From A like apple strudel to Z like pike-perch fillet, everything is prepared fresh daily with selected ingredients from renowned suppliers from the Rhineland and quality-conscious local producers by our kitchen team with a lot of love for you. This is also appreciated by our returning guests from A like the Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany to Z like the kitwart of the 1st FC Cologne.

the food was really nice and having grown up in germany and moved away it was great to have food that was traditional and the potato salad is fantastic and the beer is great as well

We arrived earlier than our reservation and were seated promptly. We liked the lively atmosphere and decor. Our server took our order and delivered drinks quickly. My wife liked her wine and my homemade lemonade was delicious. Our schnitzel dishes were very good and the portions were large. Overall a very good meal in a nice unpretentious restaurant. I would recommend HeimWerk Hackescher Markt to all visiting Berlin.

We had a fabulous meal at Dae Mon. The style of food is quite unique but skillfully executed and delicious. We opted for the wine pairing and the selection of wines was excellent and paired very well with every course. Service was very good. Overall it was a great experience and good value for first class food and service.
