Devon Seafood Grill - Philadelphia
The food was good and the Father's Day menu was a good value.
Great food, great service... fruit flies were bit annoying, but overall a good night
Great food. Great service. Nice atmosphere.
A great restaurant experience starts with great service. Dente was our waiter and his recommendations were spot on. The food was excellent and you can’t be the location.
Everything was perfect! I wouldn’t want to spend my evening any where else but there.
Always a great time for any occasion!!
The creme brulee is outstanding!!
The restaurant is experiencing a fruit fly problem. The food is great!!
I decided to try the bacon cheeseburger w/lobster mac and cheese. I thought it was very good and filling. Would've been nice if I could have ordered the steak that usually comes with the 3-course lunch special but they only had fish - definitely a let down.
The lunch specials are very good choices and plenty of food. We enjoyed salads and mussels. We sat inside and would have had a nice view of Rittenhouse Square if it were not for a truck parked in front of the window. The worst part was the noise from the truck. Nevertheless, I will return again.
Went for my mother’s birthday. Flies were rampant. Dishes were overpriced - even for a seafood spot on Rittenhouse. Felt a bit tourist trap like. Food was mediocre. The whole place could use a revamp.
This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The food was incredible, atmosphere is beautiful, and the service was excellent. I HIGHLY recommend the crab cakes with mashed potatoes. Delicious and, we will be returning!
As usual, Devon does not disappoint. Excellent, fresh food that is well-prepared and very friendly, helpful service.
Everything was excellent, a perfect place for my birthday lunch! i am never disappointed when eating here
Food was delicious, excellent service but parking was horrible.
Lovely old school atmosphere. Our waiter was very attentive. A little pricey but food delicious.
Caesar was our server. He did a great job. We had a party of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Chilean sea bass and would definitely recommend it!
The service was great. The food was terrific and the ambience was amazing. I would definitely recommend to all my friends. i would go there again as well!!!!
While this meal was with business colleagues, we are also friends. Perfect atmosphere, delicious food and great service.
The scallops were excellent!
Devon is a staple in the city but our visit this past Saturday didn't live up to expectations. I put a 3 on service but this in no way reflects on our server. There was a few mistakes that I believe a restaurant of this caliber should not be committing.
First, a food runner came to our table with someone else's food. Not a huge deal and maybe he's still learning or it was his first weekend shift. But then a different food runner with our food went to the wrong table as well.
Again not huge deals in and of themselves, but the lemon served with my oysters was dried out. So it was cut much earlier in the day and then left to sit long enough that it dried.
I also ordered the lobster mac as a side and I saw the server write this down and my dish came out with mashed potatoes. The server possibly keyed in the wrong side on the order in his haste or it was sent out incorrectly. This was quickly rectified but, again, with the above faults, it was a rather jarring experience overall.
The food was excellent and the service was quick but I think there is an issue somewhere if all of the above is happening in one evening
Perfect location, great service and excellent food!! The restaurant took the opportunity to wish us happy anniversary even without saying it was our anniversary by taking the time to look at my open table profile.
Always great food
Our sever was very nice and got my party orders right. His name was Isaac.
Devon has been a go to for years. Feeling like the overall quality of the food has slipped a bit. I’ll still go back, regardless.
food was great, atmosphere was great and staff was great. Overall I had a great time.
My wife and our friend an myself decided on a last minute dinner plans and what a great choice. Great variety of seafood along with a few meat entrees. Our friend and I had the seared scallop dinner. Nicely done! My wife had the grilled Atlantic Salmon which she thoroughly enjoy. The bread they give you in the beginning is terrific. And service was top notch.
The Shellfish Cioppino was out of this world. Are there enough characters in this sentence?
Dined for lunch outside on a beautiful day in early June with my niece. Good experience except for how closely the outside tables and chairs are positioned. Just a tad too close for a great experience.
Our waiter Connor was awesome!
Crab cake appy was excellent. The tuna was the best we ever had. Really!
Not cheap, but excellent.
Fast service, surf and turf was good my 8 oz wasnt med rare more med side. Fruit flies need to he addressed. Lobster bisque was great as well as the lava cake which is worth the 20 min wait!
First time here and would definitely come back again!
I am glad they have a new company that is trying to deal with the fruit fly issue. It was vastly improved. The lobster bisque is some of the best I've ever had in my life!
For My First Time There It Was The Experience Was Everything. Waiter Was Nice And Very Friendly. I Will Definitely Go Have Dinner There Again.
Excellent service. Delicious food. A little noisy but the server was wonderful.
Great food! From beginning to end, the meal was one of the best we've ever had.
easily one of the best seafood places in philly! from the food to the service, everything was phenomenal. highly impressed and very satisfied
Nancy- host. perfect
Ethan, or Evan---began with E- perfect.
We made a last minute reservation for 2:30 PM on a Friday after walking for 4 hours around center city and Fairmont Park. Even at this time of day the restaurant on Rittenhouse Square was very busy. They offered a number of attractive lunch options and we chose the $23 3 course special. We each chose the green salad, which was fresh and well seasoned. My friend had the cioppini (mixed seafood) and I had the barbecued salmon with asparagus and broiled fingerling potatoes. Both entrees were very good and sized for lunch. My friend had the berries with sauce anglaise and I had the creme brûlée for dessert. Both were very good. The only issue was the lack of service provide by the waiter, who had a great personality but forgot to bring my drink, spoons for the desserts, etc. He seems otherwise engaged.
