This place has gone down hill. You have to pass a tent city on your way in. The service was poor. There was no one running the host stand when we arrived. We had a reservation but the host, who finally showed up, struggled with everyone coming in to seat us. The server forgot one of my drinks. The risotto came out cold and the sliders came out burned. They were out of tap beers. Our dessert took forever to arrive. They charge a kitchen wage charge, but the food quality was subpar. Everything was overpriced for the quality. This place needs an overhaul of service and kitchen staff.

It seemed a bit overpriced for what you get but all in all I would visit here again. The ambiance was loud and vibrant. I ordered the whipped feta appetizer and steak tacos entree and loved them. The highlight was the molten cake thingy that everyone has! It was the best chocolate dessert I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely be back for dessert!

Great experience! We had been talking about going to D Bar for forever and decided that Restaurant Week was the perfect time. D Bar didn't disappoint! Erica was our server and she was awesome! Everything that we ate was delicious, an explosion of flavors in our mouth! I would defiantly recommend this restaurant and I will be putting D Bar into my rotation of yummy restaurants!

D Bar used to be excellent. Very disappointed with visit on 3/11. Service was slow, food was mediocre - except for desserts, they are still great. Thirty minutes for order to be taken, another twenty to receive appetizers, five more before soda finally arrived. Portion sizes were all over the map, brussels were good, baguette with brie was tiny, fries were enough for three people. Entrees were average except risotto which had texture of having been on stove for hours. Pacing was erratic - after previously described lengthy wait, dessert arrived relatively quickly after receipt of entrees. Lastly, I was overcharged and the waitress sent host to assist never stopping by to apologize for error. Everyone makes mistakes but owning it would have been nice. Mostly it reinforced the inattentiveness of service we'd been receiving throughout the meal. We left feeling like we'd been scammed based on price paid for what we were served.

It was Denver Restaurant Week so all aspects of the operation were under stress but the guests would not have known because the restaurant was operating at such a high level. And, the food was outstanding! We were offered three courses with several, very appealing options in each. I chose grilled little gem Caesar with lemon confit as my first course, The Salmon bowl was my second course and banana bread pudding with caramel ice cream was the third course. Every dish was exceptional. My son had shrimp and grits and was blown away! I can’t wait to return to D Bar.

We went for my husband’s birthday for lunch. The food was very good, I highly recommend the crispy brussel sprouts. Service was friendly and prompt. They didn’t do anything special for him to celebrate, which didn’t bother us, and it was overall a nice lunch.

This was a disappointing experience. It began with having to wait a ridiculous amount of time to be seated. Although the server was fantastic, it was simply slow. There appeared to be a number of staff wandering around. Worst of all, though, was the subpar food. I expected more during Restaurant Week and it was just okay.

We went for Restaurant Week. Service friendly and helpful. Food was delightfully creative and flavorful. Desserts incredible. Went some years ago. Happy they are still around and haven't been static.

This is our 5th time at D Bar. All 3 Burgers overcooked, one had bacon on burger that was cold. My wife had to get her own coffee condiments from another server. Plates left on table until we asked to clear because dessert was arriving any minute. Dessert was phenomenal

Denver Restaurant Week meal! I love D Bar and like the new (to me) digs. Our server was doing the best he could and I don't fault him, DRW is just crazy busy. My daughters shared the price fixe menu and had plenty. The portions were generous and varied, unlike some restaurants who participate that skimp a little on their meals. The only issue with the food is that the shrimp and grits plate was super salty, even for me and I love salt. No matter though. We had a great time and loved our night out. Thanks, DBar

The D bar knocked it out of the park on 5280 restaurant week amazing food the staff was just wonderful it truly was one of the BEST places I have been for 5280. I have been going forever and will for sure go back. Truly can’t say enough good things about our night out at the D bar 💕

We celebrated a double birthday and we love the food here. Their simple salad with shrimp is awesome! The only thing I would say is a downer is how expensive it was for 5 of us. We certainly couldn’t afford to go there often but it’s still great food!

The salmon in the salmon bowl was undercooked and near gelatinous on one side. It wasn't busy, but it took almost 20 minutes for them to bring a replacement, which was a much smaller piece of salmon that was burned on one side and undercooked on the other. I've always had great experiences at D Bar, so I'm seeing this as a one off experience, however it was my friend's first time to D Bar and she said she will not return. We were given a chocolate chip cookie, which was nice.

Great menu and good food. When my daughter requested that the goat cheese on her sandwich be exchanged for parmesan, she still got one with goat cheese. However, our waitress very nicely took it back and brought her what she wanted. Well done.

Awesome place if you want to go if you are looking for something nice and different. Good food, amazing deserts. Only thing I didn't like was I ordered a lemonade and it didn't taste too good. Like it had no sugar in it or something. But other than that it was great.

Waitress Margrita? Provided the worst service, rarely came out of the kitchen. Easily went 30 min without seeing her each time. Did not check on us after bringing food until we had finished meals. This was during lunch when she only had 3 tables who were also having the same problems. Did not get a refill my whole meal. We ordered desserts just for her to come back later and tell us it’s too early to order dessert. Lastly she did not give me points for my $100 meal after I wrote my phone number on the receipt.
