THE PORK BELLY MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH.
THE STEAK SAMPLER IS A YES!
Phenomenal. It truly lives up to its reputation. The Miyazaki Prefecture Waugh was incredible. Every single dish from the bone marrow flan to the kanpachi to the drinks serves... perfection every single time. The dinner was very pricey but well worth it for a special occasion. I would recommend and definitely be back. Also, Grant, our server, was just absolutely incredible. I can’t wait to go back for my boyfriends birthday and hoping Grant can be our server again. Thank you CUT for the best meal I’ve had this entire year.
Let me just preface this by saying that Wolfgang Puck has been my culinary idol for many years. When I was a kid, I wanted nothing more than to be his apprentice of some sort. I first heard of Cut 3 years ago due to a Facebook video and was determined to go — no matter how long it took. So, for me, just being able to show up and attend Cut was incredible.
The food is unmatched. Everything we ate was amazing from appetizer to dessert. The 5 of us shared the 48oz Tomahawk steak featured on the menu. They say it’s really meant to be for 3, but it fed all 5 of us. For dessert, we had the “BCP” (an adapted version of Banana Cream Pie), the Dark Chocolate Souflee, and the Cheesecake. Hands down the cheesecake was our favorite. It was so decadent and creamy. Truly unparalleled. It is expensive - after everything (valet, tip, etc.) it was about $650. However, if you have the funds and want to have a nice sit down dinner here in LA, GO TO CUT!!!
Expensive but a great experience. Food was fabulous and perfectly prepared. Service was superb.
Wine list was extensive. If you are in a party of two ensure that you are not close to a large group.
5 star service
Food was only ok. We ordered USDA Prime Beef Tomahawk Chop 48 Oz, we ordered medium rare and it came out hard and black on the surface and rare inside. The meat was tough and chewy and not good at all. I can’t even believe it was prime beef. It was my fourth time dining at this restaurant but first time for the rain Tomo it was the worst steak that I’ve ever had. Herb and butter lettuce blue cheese salad was excellent also sautéed white corn and fried baby artichoke was great.
We finished steak because we didn’t want wait getting a new steak. It was very disappointed.
Everything is always perfect. Ellen is a superstar.
We celebrated a special birthday for a dear friend. Every detail was perfect. Cannot think of a better experience!
Good for Father’s Day.
Pretty space with great music and art work. Unfortunately, the restaurant really missed the mark. Waited 45 minutes for our table. Steaks were good but not the best we’ve ever had. Charged for food that we didn’t order. Waited quite some time to fix the bill. Really wanted to love it but too many issues. Should note that our server and the rest of the staff was very friendly.
The room was comfortable, clean and very-California. The food service was good overall but many of the entrees and side dishes we ordered were not hot. Very puzzling for a Puck restaurant. The steaks were well-cooked to the requested Medium but they were not hot. The creamed spinach was cold by the time it was served onto our plates. The baby carrots were lukewarm. The Kennebec fries were disappointing but the tempura onion rings were great. All of the sauces were good. The kitchen seemed to be overwhelmed by the number of college graduation parties and the early Father's Day celebrations. We had three separate main servers and it added to the overall choppiness of the evening. It was good but certainly not great. And great is what you expect from Puck and at these prices.
Fantastic and incredibly attentive service, with outstanding food. Everything was perfectly done. Also wonderful to dine in an art gallery with an outstanding soundtrack. A phenomenal experience!
We go every year on our annual trip to la. This was pure disappointment. Everything was awful.
The steak is overrated and we were not satisfied, the cook need to pay more attention
Went with friends for the first time and omg. Amazing!!! Every bite was perfect. Steaks are beautifully made. We all were very satisfied. Thank you chef!!!
Steaks over cooked, not tender and flavorful as you would expect
We loved the restaurant the the food was great. The wait staff and manager were extremely attentive to the point that when I asked about a special alcoholic drink being prepared tableside nearby, the manager immediately asked the waiter who had prepared the drinks at the other table to give us a demonstration of the drink making process, and let us drink the results at NO charge.
A truly great experience!
Another great dining experience at Cut! My son. William’s 20th Birthday follow up after Spago! The best selection of Steak in Los Angeles!! We have been having this culinary dining delight for several years and the service compliments the delicious meal so genuinely close since the quality is unmatched.
Thank you for making Will’s birthday a special day!!
Can’t wait to go back
too expensive regarding the sides.
steak yes, the sides should not be 30 dollars.
the wine list is so overpriced. no options under 175$
Very good food, great service. A bit too loud for a dinner with conversation.
No tablecloths, which makes it too casual for the price point. We'd go back if those were added
The Crab Cakes were very ordinary
The vegetables were over cooked.
The Kitchen is not performing as it used to, and, consequently will be cancelling our Reservation on 10 June and in the first week of July.
Our Waiter was excellent but on all other criteria, CUT is no longer the place that we look forward to visiting when we visit LA.
Ashley and Kaye Muir
Tremendous. As great as the meal was, the service was even better. Dining alone and late, they still took amazing care of me.
Steaks as good as we’ve had in sometime.
Wine list pricey but extensive.
Food was exceptional. 3rd time I have dined over a few years and it is always top quality. I took my 15 and 12 year old boys as a treat - and they loved the Japanese Waygu the best.
Our entire meal experience at CUT was fantastic! From the appetizers to the wagyu steak and the dessert was wonderful. It was heightened by the service provided by Cesar and others. Super attentive service and fantastic food definitely made our night great.
Got the 20oz Ribeyes medium rare. The steak was over charred with too much bitterness on the outside and the steak was under seasoned (my wife's Wagyu was also under seasoned). Our server was nice enough to bring me two different types of dipping sauces to go with it. It tastes a bit better with Chimichurri, but I expect better steak than that from CUT. Service was great as always.
Enjoyed 3 different New York Sirloin, asparagus, Mac&Cheese, and puree potatoes. Great service and good food. Contemporary and casual ambiance is okay, but I prefer a more formal setting for a restaurant in this price range.
I had really high expectations with this being a Mishaen
Dining in Beverly Hills is always fun as is the people watching. The food was very good but the prices were just too rich for our blood.
This place was AMAZING, the service was one of a kind and the meat was even better. The waiters were very nice and amiable, overall I would highly recommend this restaurant!
We had some amazing Wagyu steak, great bread and dessert. The staff was very friendly snd knowledgeable. We will be back.
Every time I go it’s an amazing experience. The olive fed wagyu was next level. Always a fun superb dining experience.
We always enjoy this CUT restaurant. the one in Las Vegas is much more noisy, and what you would expect from Vegas. However here in Beverly Hills, the CUT is much more subdued and the service is great. We have come to know many of the staff here and they are just top notch. Great new items added to the menu this time with the new asparagus appetizer and crab cakes. The Olive Fed Wagyu is simply amazing.
A much over rated restaurant. At this level of dining,, I prefer Maestro’s. The soft shell crab was over fried with an crunchy crust that was totally unnecessary and when overcooked as it was, completely overwhelmed the crab. The 12 oz 45-day aged rib eye cooked perfectly to medium rare was almost dry and underwhelming. Lastly, I don’t expect a renowned steak restaurant to push their sauces since a really fine piece of meat doesn’t require steak sauce. Then again, I’m a purist when it comes to food.
I call it Club CUT! because it is a sensational place to be a regular visitor and client. Everything about Cut is top drawer. Wolf has set the tone...noting can be anything but the best. The beef is superb. The chefs are at the top of their game. And, the service, directed by Ms.Ellen is as good as you'll find anywhere in LA...Cut is a go to placedds if you'ds are trying to impress business associates with the finest quality steakhouse experience.
Fire alarms went off twice...not so nice for relaxing and conversation...and both false alarms.
Food was good, a nice mixture of offerings and prepared excellently. Service was great as normal.
This place is just not what it used to be in terms of food, service, or the overall experience. It is not bad, and the desert was certainly excellent, but considering the price, I think it’s now a “can miss”.
Outstanding service and exceptional food. Fantastic experience!
An excellent experience & would highly recommend this restaurant ...
