Doko feels like a neighborhood spot, with tables of friends chatting deep into the lunch hour, parents with their kids nearby, and a convenient location next to an ice cream parlor. The menu is good for quick lunches, with sushi sets though individual orders are available for sushi and sashimi. There is a playfulness with the food, as you can have a sushi set plus a smashburger, tasty with the addition of gouda cheese and tonkatsu sauce. They also have a monthly special for "Doko Dogs" though I'll have to try that at a later time. Cocktails are flavorful, and they suggest a trip to the nearby Bar Doko may be worth a future visit as well.
